About GPSC Nayab Mamlatdar & DySO Exam

Eligibility for GPSC Nayab Mamlatdar
- Candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- Age must between 20 years to 35 years.
- General Female: 5 year relaxation
- ST, SC & SEBC Male Candidates: 5 year relaxation
- ST, SC & SEBC Female Candidates: 10 year relaxation
- Ex-Serviceman: Deduct of the period of actual military service from his actual age (if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post appointment by more than 3 years)
- Physically disabled: 10 year relaxation
- Gujarat Govt. Employees: NO RELAXATION
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any stream from recognized university
- Basic computer knowledge required – As per ગુ.મુ.સે. વર્ગીકરણ અને ભરતી (સામાન્ય) નિયમો – 1967, નિયમ-8(1એ).
- Candidate must have enough knowledge about Gujarat and / or Hindi language.
GPSC Nayab Mamlatdar Exam Pattern
This exam has two stages 1. Preliminary Exam (Screening Test) and 2. Main Exam (Written Test)
Preliminary Exam
- Total question Paper: 01
- Total time: 2 Hours
- Total marks: 200
- Subject: General Studies
- Medium: Gujarati
- Negative mark: 0.30 for each wrong answer
- Preliminary Exam is screening test only, this exam’s mark will not considered for final merit.
Main Exam
- Total question papers: 04
- Time for each paper: 03 hours
- Medium: Gujarati (except English Paper)

GPSC Nayab Mamlatdar & DySO Exam Syllabus
GPSC Nayab Mamlatdar & Deputy Section Officer preliminary exam contains only 1 question paper (General Studies / GS) which contains total 200 questions. Board has given detailed syllabus for Nayab Mamlatdar Preliminary Exam. This syllabus is similar with GPSC Class 1-2 Preliminary Exam.
