What is GPSC Class 1-2 Exam?
GPSC Class 1-2 exam is conducted by GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission Board) for various Class I, II and III level posts i.e. Deputy Collector, Dy. SP, Taluka Development Officer, Police Inspector, Chief Officer, Nayab Mamlatdar, Dy. Section Officer etc..
What is eligibility for GPSC Class 1-2 Exam?
- Candidate must be a citizen of India
- Age between 20 to 35 (as on last date of application)
- ST, SC & OBC Male: 5 years relaxation
- ST, SC & OBC Female: 10 years relaxation
- General Female: 5 years relaxation
- Ex-Service man: 3 years relaxation
- Physically Disabled: 10 years relaxation
- Calculate your age
- Educational qualification: Any Graduate
- Last year / semester candidate also can apply.
GPSC Class 1-2 Exam Pattern
This exam is taken in three stages.
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Interview
Preliminary Exam
GPSC class 1-2 Preliminary exam has total two question papers with 200 marks each. Preliminary exam is MCQ based exam which contains two question papers.
Paper 1: General Studies
- Total marks: 200
- Total time: 180 minutes
Paper 2: General Studies
- Total marks: 200
- Total time: 180 minutes
Other Note:
- Both papers are MCQ based.
- 0.33% negative marking for each wrong answer.
- Both paper to be set in English and Gujarat language.
- Merit for this exam will be based on combined marks of both papers.
GPSC Class 1-2 Main Exam
Main exam is descriptive type exam where students have to write descriptive answers. This exam has total 6 question papers.
