685 Police Sub Inspector (PSI), Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), Intelligence Officer (IO) Recruitment 2016 will be allowance soon by Gujarat Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Board (PSIRB) for male and female candidates. - General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Psychology, History, Geography, Social Studies, General Science & Mental Ability.
Physical Test pattern and criteria for PSI, ASI
- Male: 5000 meter running test (in 25 minutes maximum)
- Female: 1600 Meter running test (in 9 minutes and 30 seconds maximum)
- Ex-Serviceman: 2400 meter running test (in 12 minutes and 30 seconds maximum)

- Exam type: Objective (MCQ based)
- Total no. of question papers: 04
- Gujarati (100 marks: 1 hour 30 minutes)
- English (100 marks: 1 hour 30 minutes)
- General Knowledge (100 marks: 1 hour 30 minutes)
- Law (100 marks: 1 hour 30 minutes)
- Exam level:
- Gujarati and English: HSC
- General Knowledge: Graduate
- Minimum require marks for document verification: 40%
Extra marks:
- 2 marks for NCC ‘C’ Certificate
- 5% marks of obtained marks for National / international / inter-university / All India School union games (Village, Taluka or District sport persons are not eligible for sports marks)
- 5% marks of obtained marks for widow candidates
